The Beijing Olympics are over, but the enjoyment of the games can still be experienced with the Olympic Fencing Package! Fencing is an intense and exciting sport where strength is not as important as cunning and technique. Commonly called physical chess, it is a great way for both men and women to develop decisiveness, self-esteem, as well as mental and physical strength.

Let friends test their swordsmanship and learn a sport with a long tradition and unique etiquette in a private lesson with an experienced fencing instructor. This 90-minute experience is a total immersion into the romance, history, and fun of fencing. En garde!

The Process:

First, the recipient is introduced to the various swords used in the fencing world. Then, they proceed with a warm up session with Shanghai's top coach who will introduce them to the basics, including essential footwork. Essential equipment such as foil and mask is shown, and techniques for beating the opponent are demonstrated. At the end, the recipient puts all that has been learned into practice by challenging their instructor to a duel.
